Cut Off your Electricity Bill

Thermal protection in buildings directly influences the use of energy for cooling, as well as the ability to control the room climate. Less thermal protection results in more energy usage and a much less comfortable room environment.

The thermal protection for summer conditions is intended to minimize heat gain from the warm outside temperatures and sun rays, thus allowing the building environment to be economically controlled in a comfortable state.

Thermal protection in the summer is mainly determined by the capability of the exterior building elements to store and dissipate heat. This property is determined by the mass and thermal conductivity of the building material. As shown below, the thermal mass and thermal conductivity establish the thermal inertia, which causes a damping and time lag of the temperature peaks. With Autoclave Aerated Concrete materials, no additional thermal protection is required for the walls.

Aerated Concrete structures provides a nearly airtight envelope, which is critical in controlling the comfortable and healthy indoor environment. A major emphasis in a cooling system design is to minimize “uncontrolled” ventilation air. By providing an air-tight building envelope, AAC minimizes the “uncontrolled” air changes and allows the ventilation air to be controlled. Elements such as dust and pollen can be filtered out of the ventilation air before they invade the building. By use of a dehumidifier, the moisture content of the ventilation air can also be controlled which optimizes the comfortable indoor environment. Overall, the volume and quality of ventilation air can be easily and accurately controlled in an AAC structure- thus providing a comfortable, economical and healthy environment.

Acoustic Insulation

A commonly overlooked environmental problem in construction is noise pollution. The solid wall construction of a building made of AAC provides exceptional acoustic insulation. Its porous structure and high surface mass, coupled with its ability to dampen mechanical vibration energy, greatly reduces outside environmental noise pollution and the indoor echo effect (i.e. reflecting sound) in empty rooms, providing a quieter, more comfortable interior for the occupants. AAC material has exceptional sound insulation properties exceeding other solid materials of the same weight per surface area

  • Cellular structure
  • High surface mass
  • Mechanical vibration energy damping

Acoustic Performance

  • Transmission of sound generated from internal sources such as machinery or equipment can be significantly reduced
  • Excellent Noise Reduction Coefficient for AERCON surfaces provides great sound absorption and damping without any additional measures
  • Offers more privacy for occupants
  • Especially helpful in noise control for buildings such as schools, hospitals, hotels, multifamily housing, and offices Environmentally Friendly
  • AERCON is an environmentally friendly product made from sand, lime, cement, water, and a rising agent
  • No pollutants or hazardous wastes are generated in the process

Built-in Safety Structure

When you use AAC material, safety is built-in. With the highest fire rating in the industry, our AAC materials offer the best fire safety available.

Due to their exceptional performance when exposed to fire, PAC products are the ideal solution for a multitude of superstructures and interior spaces that require a fire rating. Whether it’s blocks or panels, PAC products can be used as fire separation walls. PAC products are appropriate for residential uses like villas, apartments, hotels, schools, hospitals, shaft walls and others. Industrial uses include electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, computer rooms, communications equipment rooms, flammable materials storage, document storage, warehouses, laundry rooms, boiler rooms, maintenance shops, emergency generator rooms and others.

PAC products can be used as the primary load resisting structural system in addition to being used as cladding to increase the fire rating of stud walls and to protect other materials such as structural steel.

PAC material has proven to remain fully intact and withstand the stress of fire for up to 4 hours without any impairment to its stability. Even under intense heat, PAC material remains tightly sealed against smoke and gas, emitting no toxic fumes.

Advantages of fire behavior on PAC material.

  • Fire Safety- 4 hours
  • Not flammable.
  • Highest temperature damping.
  • Environmentally friendly
